The Putnam County Public Library's Library of Things continues to grow as the county has updated patrons on three new citizen science kits. The organization will also distribute free solar eclipse glasses for partial solar eclipses in October and April. The district's citizen science kits cover air quality monitoring, pollinators and biodiversity research and are available to try out. Picking up these kits is 100% free. These kits are presented thanks to the partnership of the Illinois Library Association, the Chicago Public Library and the Reaching Across Illinois Library System with the Adler Planetarium.
