Hi, This is a fairly recent, pieced together computer, running windows 11.  Been suspecting an infection for several months; only working on it in spurts as I tend to go paranoid and braindead if working on it for very long.  More than happy to answer any questions and do intend to be quick to respond.  Open to anything; willing to reinstall if need be, but have done that a few times and problem seems to return somehow.
