KUALA LUMPUR: Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek today reminded teachers that school safety does not only involve infrastructure but protecting the students' mental and physical wellbeing. She said it has always been a teacher's responsibility to look out for their students and to address any case of abuse. She said an increase in the number of physical, sexual and emotional abuse cases involving children and child neglect cases were worrying, and teachers needed to play their part to take action when they have information on such cases.
