The Dutch government is expected to finally publish long-awaited rules covering extended export restrictions on technology to China next week, with ASML as a maker of advanced chipmaking gear likely to be one of those affected. The Netherlands formally joined US efforts aimed at curbing Chinese access to advanced technology and the tools to develop and manufacture cutting-edge semiconductors earlier this year following months of pressure from Washington . But the government did not immediately specify what restrictions it was planning to put in place, and it now appears that these may be revealed as soon as June 30, according to Bloomberg.
