Police are investigating an assault at Brooklyn Park last night. About 8.30pm Sunday 16 July emergency services were called to Marion Road, Brooklyn Park after reports a woman had been stabbed by a person known to her. When police arrived they located a 44-year-old woman with a stab wound to her back. She was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical but stable condition. Police searched the area and quickly located and arrested the suspect, a 16-year-old girl from Brooklyn Park. She has been charged with attempt murder.
