Inspirational teachers, principals, business managers and support staff and schools are being recognised for the valuable work they do to make our education system the best in the country - at the annual Victorian Education Excellence Awards. Minister for Education Ben Carroll today announced the 47 finalists for the 2023 Victorian Education Excellence Awards, which celebrate those who work to improve schools and help our students achieve their best. A principal who led a cultural safety framework for Koorie and refugee students, a primary school teacher who introduced literacy improvements leading to better educational outcomes and a school that has developed innovative inclusion practices for its students with disability are among those being recognised for their outstanding contributions to education across Victoria.
