MANILA, Philippines — University of the Philippines football athlete Yoro Sangare passed away on Thursday. He was 22. The UAAP confirmed the death of Sangare but the cause has yet to be revealed as an autopsy is still ongoing. The third-year physical education student from Mali sat out in the UAAP Season 85 men's football tournament due to an injury from a friendly match before the start of the tournament. UP was in mourning when it bombed out of Final Four contention after settling for a 2-2 draw against Far Eastern University on Thursday at UP Diliman Football Field.
