Pagasa weather update MANILA, Philippines — The trough of a low pressure area off Eastern Visayas will bring overcast skies with rains in parts of Bicol, Visayas and Mindanao on Tuesday, the state weather bureau said. The LPA was last spotted 1,305 kilometers east of eastern Visayas, according to Veronica Torres, weather specialist of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). 'We expect scattered rains and thunderstorms in the Mindanao area, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas and Bicol region,' Torres said in a public weather forecast on Monday evening.
