A Tesla driver is accused of dragging a police officer for approximately 200 feet before kicking the officer and fleeing the scene of a traffic stop on Monday night, authorities say. Around 9:30 p.m., in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia, 5400 block of Charles Street near Cheltenham Street, police say the car was stopped for a routine traffic violation when an officer saw a handgun on the floor, according to multiple media reports. When the officer tried to grab the gun, the Tesla driver dragged the car in reverse for 100 feet before dragging the officer forward another 100 feet.
