Taiwanese investors have expressed keen interest in a new round of investments in the Philippines, particularly in the manufacturing and logistics sector, according to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza). Peza said on Friday it recently hosted an investment briefing to eight Taiwanese manufacturing firms and two logistics companies as part of a six-day mission from Taiwan to the Philippines. 'These delegations from Taiwan are eyeing to register their export and domestic market-oriented projects under the Peza and [Board of Investments],' Peza officer in charge and Director General Tereso Panga said in a statement.
