Residents can drop off their 'end of life' textiles including clothing, bed linen, tablecloths and scrap fabric for free at the upcoming Textiles Drop-off Day! All the textiles from the day will be recycled and turned into new clothing products through an innovative fibre to fabric recycling process. Cardinia Shire Council in partnership with Textile Recyclers Australia aims to reduce landfill by providing a convenient and sustainable option for disposing of old textiles and clothing unsuitable for donation.
