TAGBILARAN CITY — A snake found at the switchyard of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) substation in Corella town, Bohol province caused a power outage on Thursday morning, June 1, in some towns. The NGCP said the outage affected Loon, Maribojoc, Cortes, Antequera, Corella, and Sikatuna, which are served by distribution utility Bohol I Electric Cooperative (Boheco 1). Three short line trippings occurred at 8:23 a.m., 8:27 a.m., and 8:33 a.m. 'We request your patience and understanding on this matter as this is beyond our control,' said the NGCP in a statement.
