Wollongong City Council is on the hunt for a local community artist to create an engaging artwork for a new Street Library (also known as a Book Box). The new Street Library will be installed later this year at Luke's Place Playground in Corrimal. The successful artist will be commissioned to design an original artwork that will be scaled and/or cropped to size, and digitally wrapped around the new Street Library. Council will pay an artist fee of $1,500 to the successful artist to cover costs and acknowledge their artistic contribution to the city.
