THE minister of agriculture, water and forestry, Calle Schlettwein was in Angola this week to visit water projects in the neighbouring country.Ministry spokesperson Jona Musheko said that the minister would visit water projects Angola commissioned in the Cunene province in 2019. The minister was accompanied by the ministry's executive director, Ndiyakupi Nghituwamata, director of water supply and sanitation coordination Elijah Ngurare and NamWater chief executive officer Abraham Nehemia.'As part of the joint trans-boundary water management between the two countries, Angola's minister of energy and water has extended an invitation to Schlettwein to visit water commissioned projects aimed to alleviate water supply challenges experienced in the Cunene province as a result of the prolonged droughts,' Musheko said.
