Kiama Council is marking Local Government Week (31 July – 6 August) by asking our community to help us recognise the important work done by our council volunteers and trainees. Nominations are now open for the Robert East Award and Megan Dalley Award , which recognise the efforts of one of our volunteers and trainees respectively. CEO Jane Stroud said Kiama Council, as a small, community-based council, relied on the support of volunteers across our wide range of services and programs on a day-to-day basis.
