MANILA, Philippines—Creamline swept PLDT, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17, and clinched its ticket to the semifinals of the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at Philsports Arena on Tuesday. The Cool Smashers tightened their grip on the top spot with a 6-1 record. 'We're thankful that we got in [semis] again. We're happy because our training paid off but I believe we're just about to peak, come the semifinals. We'll do better,' Ced Domingo said in Filipino. The playoffs format did not work in Creamline's favor last year, especially with the quotient system.
