Boroondara Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two teenagers following an alleged armed robbery in Hawthorn earlier this month. It is alleged a group of five teenagers were approached by several males at Glenferrie Oval on Linda Crescent on 1 September about 7.15pm. Police were told two of the males allegedly threatened the group with knives, before stealing their mobile phones, cash and ID's. The males allegedly fled the scene on foot towards Glenferrie Road. No one was physically injured.
