Gold Coast Detectives have charged a woman following investigations into a fire that occurred at Coomera residence last week, July 31. It will be alleged that emergency services were called to the Fortune Street address around 4:15pm following reports of a unit fire. A 37-year-old male occupant of the unit suffered significant injuries and remains in a Brisbane-based hospital. Following investigations into the fire, detectives yesterday arrested a 60-year-old Woodend woman. It will be alleged that the male occupant and the woman were known to each other.
