Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate an aggravated burglary in Footscray earlier this year. It is understood two men arrived at a property on Ballarat Road and woke the victims up by banging on the front door about 2.30am on 25 June. Police were told two male offenders smashed the front windows of the property, then walked down the side of the house and forced entry through a side door. Once inside an adjoining office space, the offenders attempted to gain entry to the main part of the house before removing a CCTV camera from the wall.
