MANILA, Philippines — A low pressure area (LPA) may form off Mindanao and trigger rainfall over the weekend, the state weather bureau said on Thursday. Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Benison Estareja said a 'circulation' that could become an LPA may enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) this weekend. Meanwhile, fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers are expected nationwide on Thursday, Pagasa said in its early morning weather update.
