MANILA, Philippines — A low pressure area (LPA) expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday will bring rains in portions of Visayas, and in Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported. According to weather specialist Obet Badrina, the LPA is still outside the PAR and was last seen at around 1,425 kilometers east of extreme northern Luzon. 'Base sa pinakahuling datos natin, maaaring itong LPA na ito ay pumasok sa Philippine area of responsibility sa araw na ito, bagamat sa ngayon ay medyo maliit pa rin ang tiyansa na ito ay maging bagyo,' he stated.
