MANILA  -Converge ICT Solutions Inc. continues to make its presence felt in the local fiber broadband space after registering the fastest internet speed, but telco giants Globe Telecom and PLDT Inc. remained the most reliable providers, according to analytics company OpenSignal. In a report Thursday, OpenSignal said Converge recorded the fastest broadband download and upload speeds of 52.8 megabits per second (Mbps) and 35.9 Mbps, respectively, this month. PLDT and Globe ranked second and third, respectively, in both speed tests.
