KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 (Bernama) -- The National Union of Teaching Profession (NUTP) has proposed that a single agency be set up to coordinate Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to make it more manageable and focused through the Ekonomi MADANI launched today. NUTP president Aminuddin Awang said this is because various efforts have been made to empower TVET before but the results have been less than encouraging. "The main problem in this country is that there are too many ministries, agencies and organisations that organise TVET programmes.
