MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday said it has recommended Ria Atayde as its new spokesperson. In a press briefing, MMDA acting chair Don Artes said she recommended Ria Atayde to Malacañang, citing her degree in Communication Arts and her experience. 'I personally recruited Miss Ria Atayde, who graciously agreed,' said Artes. 'I submitted yung (the) application and endorsement sa (to) Malacanang for Miss Atayde to be the spokesperson ng (of the) MMDA,' he added.
