KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 (Bernama) -- The Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) has allocated RM13 million as education funds for outstanding asnaf students at the diploma level through the Education Financial Settlement Scheme launched today. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar said through the scheme, assistance will be offered to tithe recipients, the needy and Muslim converts living in the three Federal Territories who have taken the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loan at the diploma level and have obtained excellent results with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.
