New York - Luxembourg has invested EUR 5.9 million (USD 6.36 million) in flexible and thematic funding to UNDP for 2023. The amount includes EUR 3.1 million towards UNDP regular 'core' resources and EUR 2,9 million fully flexible funds to all four Funding windows on Poverty and Inequality; Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment; Nature, Climate, and Energy; Governance, Peacebuilding, Crisis and Resilience. At the mid-point of the 2030 Agenda, Luxembourg's timely contribution boosts UNDP's critical work for sustainable development around the world in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the principal of leaving no one behind.
