The latest in cutting-edge medical technology is being rolled out in a new state-of-the-art pathology laboratory at Nepean Hospital, as part of a $29 million investment in NSW Health Pathology laboratories across western Sydney and regional NSW. NSW Health Minister Ryan Park marked the official opening of the hospital's new Pathology Laboratory, a key feature of Nepean Hospital's $1 billion redevelopment. Mr Park said the new facility is one of the first NSW Health Pathology laboratories to be fitted with advanced new chemical pathology analysers, and will provide a range of common tests such as liver and kidney function tests and diabetes monitoring.
