MANILA, Philippines—Kai Sotto continues his build-up in hopes of securing a roster spot for the upcoming NBA Summer League in July after he worked out with the Dallas Mavericks. The 7-foot-3 center on Wednesday posted an Instagram story at the Mavericks' training facility, where he reportedly tried out. Sotto's B.League team, the Hiroshima Dragonflies, said the 21-year-old big man will play in the Summer League when they re-signed the Asian import for another season in Japan — with an option to cancel his contract if he makes it to the NBA.
