[Courtesy of Hyundai Motor] The power system equipped in Hyundai Motor Group's Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) has been named as one of the world's 10 best engines by a prominent U.S. automotive magazine for the second year in a row.Hyundai Motor Co. said Friday that the power system of IONIQ 6 was named as one of the 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems winners for 2023 by WardsAuto. Last year, the same award was given to IONIQ 6's predecessor model IONIQ 5.The annual awards recognize compelling powertrain advancements that are all-new or significantly improved since 1995 and are highly regarded in the automotive industry, the automaker said.
