INQUIRER FILES MANILA, Philippines — An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Saudi Arabia has died, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) confirmed Monday. The DWM said that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances behind the death of Marjorette Garcia, who has been working in the Middle Eastern country since 2021. 'The DMW through its Migrant Workers Office in Al-Khobar Saudi Arabia (MWO-Al Khobar) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) are working in coordination with the Philippine Embassy, as well as local police authorities in an ongoing investigation into the circumstances behind OFW Marjorette's death,' it said in a statement.
