A K-pop band is being manufactured from a group of 20 girls from 12 countries, which Hybe chairman Bang Si-hyuk described as a "pool of talents from different countries using the K-pop methodology."  The head of the agency representing K-pop powerhouse Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, and hit girl band NewJeans made the comments at IGA Studio in Santa Monica, California on Tuesday when he announced the launch of "The Debut: Dream Academy," an audition show with Universal Music Group's Geffen Records.
