The Gold Coast's answer to Central Park is starting to take shape with construction underway at the Greenheart site in Robina to create a 252-hectare park. Mayor Tom Tate today viewed the progress made on Greenheart's first stage which is the beginning step of the largest open space and recreational facility project ever undertaken by the City. "Greenheart will be the signature park for not just the Gold Coast but the entire south-east Queensland corner," Mayor Tate said. "This first stage will provide a much-needed recreation space with playgrounds, barbecues, picnic area, events lawn and water play area for our growing population.
