MANILA, Philippines— Power outages have hit several areas of Makati City, including its Central Business District (CBD) on Thursday afternoon, according to the Manila Electric Co. (Meralco). Meralco said the power supply interruptions were triggered by 'emergency line trouble' in several parts of the city including Barangays Pio del Pilar, Bel-Air and San Lorenzo.
