A chain of donut shops will be opening its first outlet in New England, and it will be located in the southwest suburbs of Boston. According to a Twitter/X post from @JeremyKrantz, Duck Donuts is planning to open in Walpole, moving into a space on Route 1 just south of the Union Street intersection. The chain was established in 2007 in Duck, North Carolina, and today has more than 100 shops with its closest ones to the Greater Boston area being in Westchester County in New York. The address for the upcoming Duck Donuts in Walpole is 102B Boston-Providence Turnpike (Route 1), Walpole, MA, 02032.
