A man has been charged following an alleged burglary and theft of five kegs of beer from a restaurant in Doncaster. It is alleged a restaurant on Doncaster Road was broken into and the beer stolen on 4 July about 3.20am. With an unquenchable thirst to solve crime, Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives executed a warrant at an Epping address and seized five unopened kegs of assorted boutique brews yesterday. Detectives also seized a white Holden Omega station wagon baring alleged fraudulent number plates.
