The eight focus crimes identified by Philippine National Police (PNP) are murder, homicide, physical injury, rape, theft, robbery, car theft and motorcycle theft. 'Sa [On] eight focus crimes, from January to May 2022 [we have recorded] 212 [cases, compared to] January to May 2023 [we have recorded] 127 [cases],' DCPO spokesperson Police Major Catherine Dela Rey told SunStar through Messenger.
