KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 (Bernama) -- Hong Leong Islamic Bank Bhd (HLISB) has appointed Dafinah Ahmed Hilmi, formerly HSBC Amanah Malaysia Bhd director of commercial banking, as chief executive officer. Dafinah succeeds Jasani Abdullah who retired at the end of April 2023 after serving HLISB for 16 years, said the Islamic banking arm of Hong Leong Bank Bhd. 'Dafinah brings with her 23 years of conventional and Islamic banking experience and previously held leadership roles across various areas of banking,' it said in a statement today.
