Federation Council will receive $5,893,920 for road repairs as part of the $15 million in new funding announced for the Albury electorate from the Regional Emergency Road Repair Fund (RERRF) announced in the 2023-24 NSW Budget. During a visit to Albury last week, Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Jenny Aitchison said the Minns Labor Government's new cash injection would enable local councils to press ahead with urgent road and pothole repairs. "Whether it's fixing potholes, sealing roads, resurfacing or rehabilitating sections of road — this new fund will help councils undertake much needed work to repair their road networks," Minister Aitchison said.
