China's top cyberspace watchdog is seeking public comment on new draft rules that would make online platforms more accountable for curbing cyberbullying, after a growing number of cases exposed their ineffectual and slow response in managing abusive content. Online service providers should fulfill their main responsibility of managing content while establishing a sound system for 'governing' violent content on the internet, according to the draft rules released Friday by the Cyberspace Administration of China.
