Detectives have released CCTV vision as investigations continue into the attempted murder of a man and the stabbing of a second man earlier this year. Shortly after 3am on Saturday 29 July 2023, emergency services responded to Oxford Street, Surry Hills, after reports of a stabbing outside a nightclub. A 25-year-old man was reportedly approached by a number of men – armed with knives – and stabbed multiple times. A 34-year-old man was also stabbed, when he went to the aid of the younger man. The armed men fled and were last seen running south down Foley Street.
