Ceres P. Doyo ('Exorcise corruption in government instead,' Human Face, 6/2/23), is on point — religious leaders who are active in the deliverance ministry, particularly in casting out evil spirits that demonize people ought to get involved — makialam — to cleanse government service from corruption. Systemic corruption in government service is no longer merely an outcome of the flawed character of elective and appointive officials. These officials, from my perspective, are minions of malignant spirits tasked to destroy the nation.
