MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration on Saturday said it has intercepted one male and three female victims of an illegal recruitment scheme at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. The four passengers confessed Tuesday that they had been recruited to work as telemarketers in a Cambodian online gaming company for a monthly salary of $800, the bureau said in a press release. The BI acted upon receiving information from an anonymous source that revealed the details of the recruitment scheme.
