Police have charged a man after he allegedly attempted to steal a car in Aitkenvale overnight. It will be alleged at 11.40pm a 26-year-old man was sitting in his car which was parked at a shopping centre on Nathan Street. A man has opened the door and threatened the man with a knife demanding the car. The 26-year-man has got out of the car and a struggled has ensured during which the man received wounds to his right hand. A witness, whilst recording the incident on his phone, has approached the man who then fled the scene.
