MANILA  -Aboitiz Power Corp.'s renewable energy unit has partnered with Vivant Energy Corp. and Singapore-based Vena Energy to develop a 206-megawatt (MW) wind project in Northern Samar province. In a stock exchange disclosure on Wednesday, AboitizPower said Aboitiz Renewables Inc. (ARI) signed a joint venture agreement with the two companies to form Lihangin Wind Energy Corp. Construction for the project is expected to begin in the latter part of the year. 'This project is a significant boost to AboitizPower's wind energy portfolio, contributing to a well-managed and just energy transition.
