Image from DOST / Pagasa MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau said that two low-pressure areas outside the Philippine area of responsibility and the southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, are expected to bring rain over most parts of the country from Sunday night until Monday morning. Although the LPA 400 kilometers (kms) north-northwest of Pagasa Island, Palawan exited PAR earlier Sunday, it would still enhance habagat, which will bring rains in western parts of Southern Luzon and Visayas, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
