One of Chico's longest standing local businesses is closing its doors in just under two weeks, and its owner Matt Smith called the moment bittersweet. A sad relief. Sports LTD, which originated in downtown Chico and is now located at 698 Mangrove Ave, opened in May of 1985, and its owners Matt and Wendy Smith have decided to retire after just over 39 years in business.
