BUCKSPORT, Maine (WABI) - A man from Bucksport is accused of swindling more than $20,000 from at least three homeowners. 45-year-old Chandler Wilson the Third appeared in court last week after being indicted on 18 charges. He did not enter a plea. Most of the charges are theft by deception, theft of services and home repair fraud. He's also accused of breaking into a home in Orland in February of last year and stealing guns. Court documents say over the course of a couple years, starting in 2017, Wilson took at least $20,000 for home repair jobs and didn't do the work.

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago intersection where an actor who appeared in the movie 'School of Rock' was killed while riding his bicycle was flagged three years ago by a traffic safety group as 'notoriously unsafe and hazardous' by a traffic safety group, but it says no improvements were made.In its 2018 study, the Active Transportation Alliance identified the intersection in the Avondale neighborhood on the city's northwest side as a 'high-crash area' because of its poor visibility and heavy traffic.

DENVER (AP) — Attorneys for President Donald Trump's re-election campaign, its onetime attorney Rudy Giuliani and conservative media figures asked a judge Wednesday to dismiss a defamation lawsuit by a former employee of Dominion Voting Systems who argues he lost his job after being named in false charges as trying to rig the 2020 election.Eric Coomer, a former security director at Colorado-based Dominion, says in the lawsuit he was driven into hiding by death threats after the Trump campaign and others publicized an unverified report that Coomer told activists of the antifa movement in a pre-election telephone call that the vote could be fixed for Joe Biden.

BRUNSWICK, Maine (WMTW) - The Great State of Maine Air Show returned to Brunswick Saturday for the first time since 2017.The airshow also marked the return of the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels aerial acrobatic team. The Blue Angels headlined the event for their only appearance in New England this year.Other featured performances came from pilots of the Fat Albert C130, the L39 Albatross (a Soviet-era fighter jet), the jet-engine powered 'Jet Car' and the Red Bull Air Force jump team.Several modern and vintage planes, boats and helicopters were also displayed on the ground for visitors.
