HANOI : Vietnam has estimated its gross domestic product (GDP) growth to be 6.5 percent at best this year, local media reported on Tuesday. The country's Ministry of Planning and Investment on the same day announced two scenarios for Vietnam's GDP growth for 2023, local newspaper Tien Phong reported. Accordingly, the country would post GDP growth of 6 per cent or 6.5 per cent for 2023. With the 6.5 per cent scenario, the GDP growth in the third and fourth quarters must be 7.4 per cent and 10.3 per cent respectively, according to the ministry.
