Lima, Peru - Reflecting on the relevance of strengthening capacities to collecting and analysing data on road traffic crashes, deaths, and injuries, UNITAR and the General Secretariat of the Andean Community (SGCAN) join forces to strengthen the capacity of road government institutions responsible for collection and analysis of data to advance road safety in the Andean Community (CAN). UNITAR in close collaboration with the SGCAN has launched today the "Road Safety Virtual Dashboard" that aims to enable road safety professionals in CAN member countries to constantly monitor and track changes in road safety-related indicators.
