Tesla is officially launching the brand and its vehicles in Malaysia next week, and in the meantime has opened its order books for the Tesla Model Y full-electric SUV. It will come with retail prices starting from RM199,000. The Model Y is the best-selling all-electric SUV in the world, and one of the safest cars, with 5-star ratings from NHTSA and Euro NCAP. There will be 3 variants on offer i.e. the Rear-Wheel-Drive variant (RM199,000), Long-Range Dual-Motor All-Wheel-Drive variant (RM246,000) and Performance Dual-Motor All-Wheel-Drive variant (RM288,000).
